Terms of use
Last updated 5 August 2026
frisqoo is free to use, with no account and no payment. You keep every right to your own files, because they never leave your device. In return, you agree to use the tools lawfully and to accept that a free service is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will suit every job.
Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and frisqoo, covering the website at frisqoo.com and every tool on it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There is no paid tier, no trial, no sign-up, and no usage limit. We may change what the site offers, add tools, or retire tools at any time.
Who owns the files I process?
You do, completely. We never receive your files, so we can make no claim to them and we hold no licence over them. Whatever you open, edit, and save stays yours.
What am I allowed to do with the tools?
You may use frisqoo for personal, educational, and commercial work at no cost. You do not need to credit us, though we appreciate it.
You agree not to:
- Use the tools on files you have no right to open, edit, or unlock.
- Use the tools to break the law, infringe someone's copyright, or handle stolen material.
- Attempt to attack, overload, or disrupt the site, or probe it for weaknesses without asking us first.
- Copy the site's design, code, or content to pass it off as your own service.
- Use automated systems to scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other people.
A note about password protected files
Some tools can remove a password from a PDF when you already know that password, or add one to a document you own. They are there for your own documents. Using them on a file you have no right to access may be illegal where you live, and you are responsible for that choice, not us.
Who owns the site itself?
The frisqoo name, logo, design, written content, and source code belong to us or to our licensors. Several tools are built on open source libraries, and those keep their own licences. You can see them on our licences page.
Is there any warranty?
No. The tools are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make them accurate and reliable, and we test them, but we cannot promise that every tool will handle every file correctly, that results will always be exactly what you expected, or that the site will always be available.
Because everything runs in your browser, results depend on your browser, your device, and the file itself. Very large or unusual files may fail or run slowly.
Always keep your original file. Check the output before you rely on it, delete an original, or send it to anyone.
What are you responsible for if something goes wrong?
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost or damaged files, lost work, lost profit, or any indirect loss arising from your use of the site. This matters most in one situation: if a tool produces a result you did not expect and you have already deleted your original, we cannot recover it, because we never had it.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another website, we do not control it and we are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.
Can these terms change?
Yes. If we change them we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove protections you have under your own local law.
