How to crop a PDF

  1. Add your PDF by dropping it in the box above to open the editor, or add several at once to crop them as a batch.
  2. Turn on Crop, drag on the page and adjust the handles, or type exact margins and switch between points, pixels, cm, inch, or percent. Crop one page, give pages different crops, or use Apply to all.
  3. Click Crop and download to save the trimmed file.

Everything runs on your device, so it is fast and your files stay private, even with no internet once the page has loaded.

Crop by dragging or by exact margins

Turn on Crop in the toolbar and drag on the page to draw the area you want to keep. A box with handles appears, and a small readout shows its size as you move, so you can line it up by eye. Prefer precise numbers? Type how much to trim from the top, right, bottom, and left in the side panel, and switch the unit between points, pixels, centimeters, inches, or percent. The box and the numbers stay in step, so you can start by dragging and then fine tune the exact values.

Crop one page or every page

Some documents need the same trim throughout, while others need one page handled on its own. Move to any page and set its own crop, so a wide cover and a plain body page can each get the crop they need. When one crop suits the whole file, set it once and use Apply to all to repeat it on every page, or reset a single page or the whole document if you change your mind.

Crop several PDFs at once

Add a single PDF and it opens in the editor for a precise crop. Add two or more and the same crop is applied to every file, then you can download them all as one ZIP. Files are processed one at a time, so even a large batch stays light on memory, and your files never leave your device.

Is it safe to crop PDF files here?

Yes. Many free PDF sites upload your files to their own servers to do the work. This tool does not. Your PDF is read and cropped right inside your browser, so it is never uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone else. That makes it a safe choice for contracts, statements, scans, and anything else you would rather keep off a stranger's server.

FAQs about Crop PDF

Are my files uploaded to crop a PDF?

No. The cropping is applied inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so your document never leaves your computer or phone while you work, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind.

How do the margins work?

You can turn on Crop and drag on the page to set the area you want to keep, drag the handles to adjust it, or type how much to trim from each edge. Switch the unit between points, pixels, centimeters, inches, or percent, and a live readout shows the size of the crop as you go.

Can I crop each page differently?

Yes. Move to any page and set its own crop, so one page can be trimmed one way and another page a different way. When you want the same crop everywhere, set it once and use Apply to all to repeat it on every page.

Is the content deleted when I crop?

No. Cropping changes the visible page box, so the trimmed areas are hidden rather than erased. The underlying content stays in the file and the quality is unchanged.

Can I crop several PDFs at once?

Yes. Add two or more files and the same crop is applied to every file, then you can download them all as one ZIP. Files are processed one at a time, so even a large batch stays light on memory.

What is a point?

A point is a print unit equal to one seventy second of an inch. So entering seventy two trims one inch, and thirty six trims half an inch from that side.

What do the saved files get named?

A single file saves as your-file-cropped.pdf, keeping the original name. A batch downloads as a ZIP named frisqoo_cropped.zip, with each file inside trimmed the same way.

Does it work offline?

Yes, once the page has loaded. Because the cropping runs on your device and not on a server, you can switch off your internet and it still works. That is the same reason your files stay private.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, and no size limit. It works the same on phones, tablets, and computers in any modern browser.
